St. Mary's Primary, Lochee in Dundee has been shoe-horned into the narrow streets and may give the impression, from the outside, of being a very old-fashioned place. This impression will be quickly dispelled on seeing inside. The creative way that children's work is displayed in the corridors and stairwells has created a stimulating learning environment. On 23rd September 2009 Joe McGrath went along to the School Assembly to show the children what life is like for a child in Nigeria. He was then presented with a cheque representing the money the children had decided to share with their brothers and sisters in great need. They are surely 'children helping children'
