Loretto Primary
The pupils of Loretto primary school in Musselburgh have been collecting their coins to help the children in Nigeria all term. On Tuesday 22nd December Primary 2 led the MISSIO Advent Liturgy. When the three kings presented their gifts to the baby Jesus the children also made a presentation to Joe McGrath. Their cheque was for Missionary Children as their Christmas offering. Fr. McMullan, the parish priest, praised the children for their unselfish giving and their concern for other children in the poorest parts of the world. He reminded them that the parish supports a poor parish in Nigeria and that he has sent off money from the parish to give the Nigerian children a good Christmas.
