Memberships Gifts
All baptised Catholics are obliged to share their Faith. They may wish to do this by becoming members of MISSIO. There are three types of special Membership;
Type of Membership Donation
Life Membership £100
Family Membership £25
Ordinary Membership £10

Members benefit from masses celebrated in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome and the Basilica of St. Therese in Lisieux, every day, for all benefactors.

What do you give the person who has everything? It can be difficult to buy a gift for someone who needs nothing and still make it meaningful. In such circumstances you might consider making a meaningful gift in your friend's name to help someone in real need .

MISSIO Scotland can make a gift to a project for a purpose your friend might find appealing. You choose the amount and the type of project you would like to support. We will provide you with a presentation certificate for your friend and a receipt for the gift amount.

Typical Projects

MISSIO Scotland funds projects aimed at helping children, projects which aid the growth of the Church in mission areas and sponsors students for the priesthood and the religious life in the mission areas.

The children's projects can involve preservation of life - feeding orphans, street children and new born babies. Many projects provide clinics which bring medical help to families. They can involve providing education by funding schools or school supplies for children in poor areas and can promote the teaching of the Faith.

The projects are located across the five continents - even in Europe. You can choose to support any type of project and can select the country where your donations will go. There is no shortage of people desperately needing help.

Call the MISSIO Scotland office at the number given below. Our staff will be happy to answer your questions and help you make a meaningful gift that will have a lasting effect.

Donations

Legacies

MISSIO Scotland is happy to receive donations for the support of the Holy Father's Mission Charities. Donations can be made by cheque made out to 'MISSIO Scotland'. If you wish, you can specify which charity you wish to receive the donation, Propagation of the Faith, Missionary Children, The Society of St. Peter the Apostle or the Missionary Union.

If you are a UK tax payer you may gift Aid the donation, allowing MISSIO to reclaim the tax you paid on the amount of the gift. This will not affect your tax bill. To Gift Aid your donation complete the simple Gift Aid form available here and include it with your donation.

MISSIO Scotland will send a receipt for all donations.

The work of MISSIO Scotland continues to enjoy the benefits of legacies provided by our supporters. These have ensured the continuation of our work and have made it possible to develop the charities to meet the changing demands we face. Call our office for information you need to leave a lasting gift the the work of the missions.
