Cook Islands

1 project which produces Christian school materials for children in primary schools and parish Sunday Schools. The materials are produced in English and in Maori languages.

Solomon Islands

Recent ethnic conflict in the Solomon Islands has disrupted educational and medical services. There are two Sunday School projects helping children.

Mariana Islands

There is only one project. This involves the Saint Francis of Borja Primary School. The school does not have enough books and jotters for the number of children they have. The project will help buy more books for the school.

Papua New Guinea

There are nine projects in Papua New Guinea. They involve completing St. Anne's primary school which is in a swampy area near the sea, providing books and tapes in pidgin English which the natives can understand, looking after abandoned children and providing a mobile school.

American Samoa

There are two projects here. The first is restoring an old catechetical centre for teaching children religion and the second is extending a primary school (St. Francis Elementary School in Pago Pago). This has become necessary to cope with an increased number of pupils.

Vanuatu

There is one project here. It involves buying and transporting materials needed to finish  the building of a school.
